Obituary

Aaron Hudson Adams, a resident of Wimberley, passed away September 20, 2009 at the age of 89. He was born December 2, 1919 in Arriola, Colorado to Guy Garfield Adams and Minnie Shepard Adams. He married Susie Gold Adams February 5, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years and three children, Pat Finch and husband Pete of Beeville, TX; Guy Adams of Wimberley, TX; and Mary Pendleton and husband Joe of Wimberley, TX. They were blessed with 10 grandchildren, Rhonda Finch Bloemer and husband Steven, Jean Ann Finch Walker and husband Steven, Trey Finch and wife Theresa, Quincy Adams and girlfriend Anna Fisher, Zach Adams and girlfriend Laura Schadler, Vanessa Adams Brillhart and husband Eric, Keith Pendleton and wife Brady, Craig Pendleton and wife Kara, Cory Pendleton and girlfriend Roxanne Kascak, Kurt Pendleton and wife April. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Ann Allen and Laurel Gold, one brother-in-law, Frank Allen; two sisters, Irma Ortbahn, Jimmie Logan; one brother, Gwinn Adams; numerous nieces and nephews. Joining him in heaven is brother-in-law Sonny Gold and siblings, Quincy, Sis, Orpha, Naomi and Edna, and many, many friends.

The family received friends Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home in Wimberley. Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Bro. J. B. Young officiated the service. Interment was held at Wimberley Cemetery. Donations may be made to Hill Country Recreation or Wimberley Fire Department/EMS. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Thomason Funeral Home, 512-847-2226
