Obituary

Adelene Edith Louise Heideman Wisian was born on July 19, 1926 in Uhland, Texas. She was the daughter of Gustav and Ella Maria Kraemer Heideman. Adeline was washed in waters of Holy Baptism on November 3, 1926, at her home in Uhland, Texas. She confirmed her baptismal vows in 1940. Her confirmation verse was Ephesians 2:10, "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do". On December 14, 1946, she was married to Alfred Wisian. This marriage was blessed with two children, Alan Wisian (deceased, Nov. 1, 2008) and Beverly Wisian Kleen.

Adelene lived in San Marcos for most of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother, and served as a housewife throughout her life. She very much enjoyed time with her family, spending time out of doors, and fishing. She was a life long member of St. John Church, in Uhland (now St. John Lutheran Church). Here she was active in the Women' s Guild. She was also volunteered her services at the Visitor's Center of Central Texas Medical Center. She also was a member of Hermann Son's and the American Legion Women's Guild. She was a resident of Regent Care Center, San Marcos, Texas, when the Lord called her home on May 10th, 2013.

Surviving Adelene are Beverly and Danny Kleen (daughter and son-in-law), Brenda Wisian (daughter-in-law), Doug and Melissa Kleen (grandson and wife), David and Amanda Wisian (grandson and wife), Kristy and Richard Saxon (granddaughter and husband), Laura and Scott Thompson (granddaughter and husband), Faith, Brooke, Emma, Téa, Fiona and Abigale (all great granddaughters), and Clarence Heideman (brother).
