William E. "Billy Gene" Stull, Jr. (42) died on August 15, 2012 in San Antonio. Billy Gene was born in Amarillo TX. He loved music of all kinds and had a passion for playing the drums. He started a band in high school and performed in several local venues. He also loved playing baseball and never missed a Dallas Cowboys game. After high school, Billy Gene moved to Lubbock and obtained his CNA license. He was a member and was baptized at Bellaire Baptist Church on April 9, 1989. He then moved to San Marcos where he worked as an Activities Director at a local assisted living facility. Billy Gene will be remembered as passionate and charming with an amazing sense of humor and an infectious smile. He was loyal, protective and loving. He will forever be missed.
Billy Gene is survived by his grandparents, Jim and IlaVerne Stull of Glen Rose; parents, Billy and Andra Stull of South Padre Island and Lana Bennett of San Marcos; his son, Cody Tweeder and granddaughter Ava of Amarillo; brothers, Chris Stull and wife Cassie, Garrett Stull and Jamison Stull; sister, Mistie Muhlestein and husband Mark, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Lloyd Wheeler, Sr. and June Wheeler, as well as his uncle Lloyd Wheeler, Jr. all of Amarillo.
