Paul Tye Turner, Jr., 85, of Wimberley, TX passed away Sunday, February 27th in Wimberley. He was born in Corsicana, TX on February 19, 1926 to Paul Tye Turner, Sr. and Frances Dunn Turner. Mr. Turner honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. Paul and his wife, Peggy lived in the Waco, TX area for many years until Peggy's passing in 2010. He is survived by his son, Thomas Turner and his wife, Waurine, of Wimberley, TX; daughter, Katie ter Heege and her husband, Hans of Katy, TX; brother, Bill Turner and his wife, Mary of Irving, TX; cousin, Ned Hughes of Georgetown, TX; grandsons, Tommy and Ricky; granddaughter, Meredith; great-grandsons, Dylan and Alex. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the V.A.Medical Center, 4800 Memorial Drive Waco, TX 76711. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in Corsicana, TX.
