Henry “Bubba” Miller of San Marcos, died at home on January 24th, 2018.

Henry was born in Galveston on August 23rd, 1929 to Leslie & Frank Florence Miller. He was a graduate of Ball High School, class of 1949. He was an excellent carpenter & member of Carpenter’s Local 526 for over 40 years. He was an avid hunter & fisherman who loved spending time outdoors with family and friends, especially his two grandchildren. He remained in Galveston until 1997, when he and his wife Melania, moved to Wimberley, Texas. Once there he became a member, and Eucharistic Minister, at Saint Mary’s Catholic Parish. He enjoyed gardening, wood working & helping out anyone in need. He and Melania remained in Wimberley, until they moved to San Marcos, in 2013, to be closer to their grandchildren.

He is pre-deceased by his parents, and his older brother Leslie Miller. He is survived by the love of his life, and wife of almost 56 years, Melania Pucar Miller, his daughter and son in law, Suzanne & Danny Putegnat of San Marcos, grandchildren Daniel & Ruby Putegnat, as well as many extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Bo Miller, Rick Anonsen, Ricky Anonsen, Kevin Anonsen, Danny Heffernan Jr., Joey Gimenez, Christopher Clark & Gary Farine.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Saturday January 27th at Saint Mary’s Catholic Parish in Wimberley with the visitation, at the church from noon to 1:00. A reception will follow Mass & burial will be at 3:30, at the San Marcos Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, to Saint Mary‘s Catholic Parish, New Building Fund, 14711 Ranch Road 12, Wimberley, TX 78676, or your charity of choice.
