Our beloved Cynthia Lynn Wissmann was called to Heaven on Thursday March 8, 2018 after blessing us and this world for 62 years.

She is proceeded in death by her father, Neil Blanchard; brothers Joseph, David, and Paul Blanchard; and niece, Angela Barnett.

Cynthia was a very dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted member of Saint John Catholic Church where she was active in the Woman’s Guild, served as Choir Director, was on the Liturgical Committee, and was a Lector at mass. She also served as an officer of the Austin Diocesan Council of Catholic Women.

Cynthia worked as an accountant for over 30 years, retiring from Texas State University in 2013.

She is survived by husband, Robert; children Chris Wissmann, Kate Tweedy and husband Ross, and Amanda Barnett and husband Ryan; grandchildren Ethan Wissmann and wife Jenni, Brenna and Maggie Wissmann, Avry and Evan Barnett; mother, Kathleen Blanchard; sisters Kathy Blanchard, Susan Hattaway and husband Terry, and Theresa Blanchard; brother, Michael Blanchard and wife Shannon; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was our very own angel on Earth, where she touched many lives and effortlessly spread love and light.

Cynthia, Cindy, Mom, and Nana will be missed dearly by all who were blessed to know her.
