Obituary

Carol Ann Broyles, 60, of Kyle, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at Central Texas Medical Center with her family at her side.

Carol was born on September 25, 1951, in Caro, Michigan to Barbara Erdody Broyles and Joseph Howard Broyles. She was a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force for 24 years after graduating high school. After retirement from the United States Air Force, she worked 11 years for the United States Dept. of Transportation as a Civil Rights Program Manager. She loved serving her country and especially loved her family and friends. Carol was a member of the Kyle First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sisters, Sandra Broyles of Fairgorve, Michigan, Bonnie Wenzel of Saginaw, Michigan and Linda Altizer of Bay City, Michigan.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2011, at the Kyle First Baptist Church. Services will then be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Graveside services will then take place at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2011, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
