Mary Viola "Jackie" Bellamy, 84, of Wimberley, TX passed away peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family, on Saturday, February 1st. Jackie was born in Henderson, TX on May 20, 1929 to James Elijah Bynum and Mary Kathryn Pool Bynum. She started playing the piano at the young age of four and she played the piano at her church throughout her life. Mrs. Bellamy was an avid hunter and she was very proud of killing the second largest deer in Hays County, TX. Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dave Bellamy, in 2004. Jackie is survived by her son, David Bellamy and his wife, Barbara of Rio Vista, CA; daughter, Kathy Bellamy and her companion, Ray Rylander of Spicewood, TX; son, Joe Bellamy and his wife, Lisa of Dennis, TX; son, Ron Bellamy and his wife, Emily of Longview, TX; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family from 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 3rd at the Thomason Funeral Home in Wimberley, TX. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 4th at the First Baptist Church of Wimberley, 15951 Winters Mill Pkwy., Wimberley, TX.
