Susie was born on January 3, 1927 in Mountain City, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Aaron Hudson Adams as well as her parents, Herman Albert and Fannie Doherty Gold, her brother, Sonny Gold and his wife, Laurel. She leaves a large and loving family starting with her three children, Pat Finch and husband, Pete; Guy Adams and wife, Cindy; Mary Pendleton and husband, Joe; 10 Grandchildren, Rhonda Anderson and husband, Kelly; Jean Ann Walker and husband, Steven; Trey Finch and wife, Theresa; Keith Pendleton and wife, Brady; Craig Pendleton and Fiance, Julie; Cory Pendleton and wife, Roxanne; Kurt Pendleton and wife, April; Quincy Adams and wife, Anna; Zach Adams and wife, Laura; and Vanessa Lynn Adams. She was also blessed with 18 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Susie also has one surviving sister, Ann Allen and her husband Frank, six special nephews, many cousins and a host of dear friends.

Due to the fact that her family had to move a lot in life, she managed to graduate Brackenridge High School in San Antonio in 1944 after attending 12 schools in eleven years. She meet Aaron in San Antonio and they married February 5, 1945 and began their life together.

Susie was known for her spunky spirit and loving heart. She loved her family and loved being a part of their lives was tops on her list. She loved cooking for her family and really prided herself on the Sunday dinner she cooked for many years for her kids and anyone else that tagged along.

She worked retail in her younger years in San Marcos and after moving to Wimberley, she helped her husband with his garage, bookkeeping and getting parts for him. Later she worked at the flower shop with Mary and then on to Brookshire Brothers where she also worked in the floral dept. She and Aaron led a long and happy life. She really enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports, playing bingo and just hanging out with family. Susie was a good mom and a better grandmother. She was loved by a lot and will be missed by many.
